Medley Webserve Pvt Ltd was promoted by four professionals from the IT and media field in 2008, with the specific purpose of looking at various new internet technologies, especially 3D virtual worlds. With this in mind, Medley chose Second Life (a trademark of Linden Labs of USA) as their medium in which to experiment with various real life applications in order to gainfully utilize this new platform. The first result was building an island showcasing Indian Art and architecture from Shekhawati, Rajasthan. This build was featured in virtual TV in Second Life as shown alongside.
